Fairway, Stop and Shop and Pathmark are off of Rt-59. Fairway and Stop and Shop run across from each other, separated by Main street/Middletown Rd. Pathmark is about .5 miles east bound on Rt-59, behind McDonald's.

Fairway has a variety of meats, cheeses, food stuffs, nutritionals and drinks to suit anyone's delight. Having shopped at all three locations, I have generally found Stop and Shop priced more competitively. Stop and Shop also offers a variety of food items, fresh fruits and vegetables, breads, pastries, etc.

Pathmark is also an acceptable traditional grocery store with a large selection of food items for residents to choose from.

Also, there's a great Community Market in downtown Piermont for when you run out of milk, or need to grab a coffee. In addition to all of that, there's a great Farmer's Market that sets up right next to the library every Sunday, from early Spring through Thanksgiving. ... more
