Unfortunately Bayonne have a very corrupt and racist politics and also I believe some folks don't want progress and boycott anyone that try bring it to this town. The law enforcement don't do nothing to help tenants and the landlords specially family houses are also corrupts. It's sad but that's the reality. Throw their stuff out, have their cars towed. Legally they are blocking a fire escape which is a huge no-no, and they are not allowed to block your access to your garage due to city, and state ordinances. If you don't want to get your hands dirty, find out who your fire marshal is, and complain to them. They will issue a warning, and give them fines/summonses if they do not adhere to it. It will stop pretty quick after that. ... more

Since the new super started, this place has been a dump. Worst part is that corporate allows this. The super is an unethical grumpy old man that does not fix anything and has a terrible attitude. The electricity in each apartment is limited. You pay over +$1,200 for a 2 bedroom apartment and are only allowed to turn on one AC or else the electricity turns off and corporation and the super make a huge deal out of it. If you want to heat up your food in the microwave you need to first turn off your AC. How freaking ridiculous is this?
Another negative is that there are no assign parking spots or a limit of cars per apartments. People from outside the village come here and take our spots. Its a bit irritating when you work late and have to park blocks from your apartment. So future apartment hunters... look for central AC apartments and if you go anywhere ask how many electrical devices your apartment can take. Do not end up like me, stuck in a situation like this. It is ridiculous that I have to argue to get my power switch back on because i used my microwave and AC at the same time.

I don't know if flooding is going to affect housing more than crashed banks, and the huge Debt caused by the Politicians. All I know if I can manage to move to Edison NJ, in tribute to Thomas Edison I would build a house that can float, in the event a flood should happen again. And of course power it with my New Invention Electricity Machine the GEM. God's Electricity Machine. Dominic Jermano ... more
