Try calling the local police department / fire department for that town. Look up the non emergency phone number. They will tell you the location of the nearest fire station.

This place is a nightmare and it all stems from management. They do not care/concern themselves about their properties and show it by not acting on the needs of their tenants. They are rude on the phone, tell tenants to submit their 30 day notice if they do not like how they "run" their "business" and then hang up the phone after rudely dealing with the people who pay part of their yearly profit. I have never in my life dealt with management whom employs staff that do not provide proper upkeep. They also have an awful parking issue which spills into the side streets of Metuchen and Edison. They cite "We have 312 families and only 150 spots so it's your problem not ours." This is a frustrating environment and one to steer clear of as it seems to only be getting worse! ... more

Unfortunately Bayonne have a very corrupt and racist politics and also I believe some folks don't want progress and boycott anyone that try bring it to this town. The law enforcement don't do nothing to help tenants and the landlords specially family houses are also corrupts. It's sad but that's the reality. Throw their stuff out, have their cars towed. Legally they are blocking a fire escape which is a huge no-no, and they are not allowed to block your access to your garage due to city, and state ordinances. If you don't want to get your hands dirty, find out who your fire marshal is, and complain to them. They will issue a warning, and give them fines/summonses if they do not adhere to it.
