Karen Kerpen answered:
centralized showing no longer does text messages and is not good with customer service. I find the service very poor. It costs very little and so is the quality. Its 100xs better than my office but that doesn't mean much. I always just do my self because my clients deserve better than either of those. Is there a higher end-good quality showing service. ... more

I am with you Karen..........today was a pretty bad spam day - I think it is almost worse than it was before captcha..........there really is no excuse for this spam to continue...shame on Trulia

it's like they cut the Q&A section free, and it is adrift at sea........

I am going to have my own little rebellion - will boycott the site for a week........if no one answers questions for a week - maybe trulia will pay attention.......besides, the catpcha thing is too annoying - I need a break from it......

how nice to answer a question at Zillow and just be able to click on "submit"!

Have a good week all!

well Robert, maybe they will pay attention to participants like you, and get their act together..

They have stockholders to deal with.....probably most of them have no idea how dysfunctional it is here these days........

Last night and today were a travesty - the entire home page was swamped and overrun with that spam.........and no one stopped it!

Shame on them. They owe everyone an apology (imo).

I asked some IT people over on Z how come Z NEVER has these spam issues............the answer was - it can be controlled and stopped IF they want to.
Either that, or their engineers are better equipped.

well Jill - let's see what the others say they pay for, and maybe we can figure this out!
(what does your sales rep say?)

It appears as though you need to sign up for more services in order to list more areas.........

Who knows - maybe one day in the future, this and other similar sites will be limited to paying agents only!

To those here paying for ads and zip codes...are you getting any valid leads?

Debra (Debbie) Rose answered:
well, Laura, suffice it to say, there are a lot of system issues/glitches these days!

I am surprised because this isn't a fledgling company. An issue here and there is one thing as a site grows......but constant site problems are, imo, a concern.

Why they need "Thanks", along with the Thumbs up/Down icon (that both generate the same result) is anyone's guess.
And, to make it more confusing for those new to the site - both options translate into a "Vote".
Nothing is coordinated..........no explanation for the new " thanks" = thumbs up = vote.

Either (imo) there is some big picture out there in Trulia-land that we are not yet "getting", or someone is alseep at the wheel.

Joe, that's interesting. I just tried to do that from home and it wouldn't let me. It says it can't find any properties in the area or something like that. Maybe I have a setting done someway that won't let me check in elsewhere. I've wished I could do that, because in the midst of showing clients I often come back at the end of the day, when I'm looking at Trulia, and fuss at myself that I forgot to check in.

I also tried to check in to a house that we rejected on the drive by, right after I checked into the house we were leaving, and it said I'd checked in too soon prior to that one. I wasn't sure if I had to be in the house, or if it wasn't appropriate to check in when we had decided not to go inside.

I guess there's an art to it that I don't quite have the hang of.

My Profile & Blog views have been fixed for the most part. The Profile page which did not update for around 2 weeks is corrected(moving forward, not lost views). Still had previous "blanks" on my Blog views that also were corrected(but not backdated). So if a Blog Post had 1000 views it is now 30 or so. ... more

Allan - One way or another you will have to pay for CE credits as you most likely have to take some each year to maintain your license. It does seem to be pushing the envelope a bit for the Board to charge but most likely it was voted on by the Board of Directors who were elected by yourself and your peers so they must have decided that it was in the best interest of the Board. ... more
