Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself. I am a proud former member of the United States Armed Forces. I was stationed at the U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters Unit, at Government Island, in Alameda, CA. As a Veteran, I understand some of the hardships our military families have endured and take great strides to offer our hero’s the best possible options as they return home from serving our country. After completing my tour of duty, I entered the mortgage industry in February of 1989 and have am currently a Mortgage Banker with American Financial Network, Inc.

I really enjoy working for American Financial Network and feel privileged to be a part of company that has continued to steadily grow through the years while others have entered the graveyard of imploded banks and mortgage lenders. It is my deepest and most sincere desire to help you and your family navigate through the sometimes perilous journey of getting a home loan. Whatever your situation maybe, we can and will work through it. I've been extremely fortunate in my career, to have met some wonderful people and I am truly grateful to be a part of countless success stories in helping clients regain control of their finances, repair their credit, and finally helping them achieve goals and their dreams of home-ownership.

Many of my past clients have had severe credit issues like Federal and State Tax Liens, while other have had Child Support Liens, Wage Garnishments, Collections or Charge-offs. Others who were told they didn’t have enough time on the job and others were told they didn’t have enough credit or their credit scores were too low. All were fixable, all became homeowners. Most people just want to know one thing. They ask me, "What's it going to take for me to be able to buy a home?" My answer is simply, a little dedication, a little hard work and a little patience.

My driving force is and always has been; if someone doesn’t think you can; go out and find someone who thinks you can! I am an individual who looks for the potential of others, and I keep in mind that you're not just a name and a social security number, but someone father, mother, sister or brother. I treat my clients how I wish someone would treat my family. Too many loan officers are looking for the quick close, easy deal or fast buck. I am looking for long term business relationships.

As a Senior Loan Officer, I am driven by a different set goals and purposes. I too was one those people with issues from a divorce; like bad credit, child support issues, and tax liens. I understand first hand the embarrassment and social ramifications of these types of problems. But one by one I worked through my issues and I now bring those experiences with me and I use them to help solve the problems that others might face. George Raymondo is a miracle worker! We had several credit issues due to a medical emergency back in 2010 (including a previous foreclosure). George not only advised us on how to work on our credit, but was able to close us on a USDA loan with a very low interest rate. If you're looking to get a USDA loan George is the man! He knows this program from front to back. Due to George's attention to detail, our loan approval came back from underwriting with very few conditions to close. Also, our closing costs and final mortgage payment ended up being less than anticipated.

I cannot say enough nice things about this guy. He's a straight shooter and a pleasure to work with. He has good accessibility, follow-up and conducts himself with the upmost of professionalism. He really cares about his clients. George's work ethic and integrity make him someone you can trust. The level of energy and determination he put into our file was impressive. Did I mention George took over our file after another lender couldn't perform? Now our family has a home to call our own thanks to this hard working man.

Buying a home is not something most of us do very often in our life, therefore let's face it, we are not experts. George Raymondo IS an expert!
From opening escrow to funding a little over 3 weeks! Yes, 3 weeks. George knows the "big picture" when it comes to home buying. He requests docs as he needs them; get them to him and the process speeds along.
One of George's specialtys is the USDA Loan. I highly recommend this loan. 100% financing, yep 100%! That is 0 down. Yes, you have to be in an eligible area but it's not so far out in the "boonies" as you might think.
When working with George you will have as-minimum-as- possible closing costs as well. So, 100% financing AND minimum closing costs, it's fantastic!
Oh, along with 100% financing, your interest rate will be the lowest possible too. So it's not a case of getting gouged on the rate because you put 0 down. USDA is the way to go if you can.

I highly recommend George Raymondo for any of your home loan needs. He is very honest and professional. He delivered our financing ahead of schedule and he always kept us informed of the progress. It took the sellers bank six months to approve the short sell and George was in our corner from the beginning until the completion of my home purchase. Once the bank approved the short sell George had our actual funding ready in under two weeks. Throughout the process he always had secondary and tertiary backup plans in which he discussed with me just in case the initial plan faltered. He took the time to review every document with me completely, he’s an amazing Loan Officer (Branch Manager). This is my third home that I purchased but, my previous loan officers feed me with a long handle spoon. George was always positive and reassuring, he treated me like I was a member of his family. He made this short sale purchase simple even though it was very complex. George helped me purchase my $235K (2400 sf) house with only a $2,900 down payment. My wife and I found George on the internet a few short months ago when we wanted to purchase a home but thought we were out of options. George on the other hand exceeded the highest of expectations of what you would want a Mortgage Broker to do for you. George not only assisted me and my family as first time home buyers but held our hand and guided us through all of the steps needed in purchasing our first home.
George and I never met only talked over the phone but I never second guessed him and questioned anything he had asked me to do. Mr. George Raymondo, at American Financial Network, Inc., is by far the ‘Finest Person’ in the Lending Industry. His loan processor, Jessica, is absolutely as professional and dedicated as George is in seeing a home loan through to funding.
I had, I am sure, one of the most complicated situations to obtain a mortgage for my 1st home. Several other “Well Known” lenders gave me the run around. Pulled my credit and kept giving me dings on my high credit rating every time they pulled my credit. Then I found George Raymondo, with American Financial Network, Inc.
I was utilizing USDA financing and Mr. Raymondo knew every aspect of this home loan program.
He was direct, and gave me straight forward information. He played “No Games” as other lenders did. He did not sugar-coat answers, nor feed me “Sales Pitch” lines as other lenders did.
Right up front he told me to trust him and his experience; to follow all of his instructions promptly, and he would see this loan through to funding. I was so cautious after everything the other lenders put me through, but I pressed on and trusted him. He never made me regret trusting him for one minute. Both George and Jessica emailed me day and night. George continued with my file even while on Vacation during the Christmas Holidays. He and Jessica, continued with emails, updating me, getting finalized documents from me, etc. Some of these emails were on Weekends, Holidays, and late night during the week. Never once did I have to wait long for an email response regarding clarification or questions I had.
My family and I now have the home we have all waited so long to attain. I would not have this home if George Raymondo, Jessica, and other staff, I did not have the pleasure of meeting, did not work their tails off to make it happen!
On behalf of my family Mr. Raymondo (I know you told me to call you George), I cannot express enough gratitude to you for doing your job Exceptionally Well!
I encourage EVERYONE looking for a home loan to go to George Raymondo! This man has integrity, knowledge and professionalism beyond belief. You will not find any other lender with these traits, I know, I went through many lenders who proved that they had none of these traits.

We were initially denied an FHA loan (through another lender). We were introduced to George and he got us a USDA loan (no money down, no closing cost).

George was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. When I first contacted him, my credit was low due to a recent divorce. Though it wasn't his job to, he gave me advice as to how to raise my credit score. I followed his recommendations and soon I was within reach of getting a loan. George then went above and beyond once I located a property I wanted, and was able to get things done that others couldn't. With his knowledge of the industry and connections he has with others in the industry, he was able to get my loan funded at an incredible 3.5 %!!! He watched the market daily and waited until the optimum time to "lock in" my rate, then jumped to secure the deal. George and I hit it off well as we are both veterans and he was able to navigate the red tape of the VA loan process with ease. I would highly recommend George and his team to anyone trying to finance. Should I ever be in a position to purchase another home in the area, I will go to George without hesitation. George and his team at AFN are great. They were able to help me get a mortgage, even though I had a short sale less than 2 years ago with late payments on my credit history. Every other lender I know told me there was no way I could get a mortgage without waiting 2-3 years after my short sale closed. However, George was able to get me pre-approved and actually close the loan. Throughout the whole process, George kept in close contact with me and made sure that I received regular updates clear through funding. George is professional and does what he says. I strongly recommend George for your mortgage needs.

i first started out working with one broker trying to buy a home through her and things werent working out at all.we spent 3 months putting in offers atleast once a day and never got anything done,never heard anything else from anyone. then we found georges card in a house we were looking at gave him a call he aproved us within 10 minutes on the phone and it was $30,000 more then the first broker aproved us for. we put in our first offer that same day we got approved through george and the very next day we started escrow. he worked alot of miracles for me in order to get me my first house. i am a client of his for life now and i will always refer the people i know to george.

No matter what you have been told or what you have read, there are lenders who will underwrite, approve and fund an FHA after a short sale. My short sale was close in April of 2012 and George Raymondo funded my FHA loan in July 2012. We worked with George to finance mortgage for our primary home. It's a blessing that we found George. He helped us get into our dream home with no money down. There is no hidden fees, no gimmicks, no catch. my bf and i had to move and rentals in the area we wanted to live in were close to $2000. i was given george's number and contacted him to see if we would be able to buy because it would be way cheaper than renting. he was very knowledgeable and helpful. he told us of a loan that didn't require the 3 1/2 % down... needless to say our whole process took about 30 days and we now own a nice 4 bedroom home for half the cost of renting! it was so easy and stress free to work with him! i would recommend him to everyone!!!!!!
