Have you contacted the Neighborhood Housing Group? They have seminars and classes on home buying, budgets & etc.
There are some really great seminars available in the New York Metropolitan area which you can locate. I am a Mortgage Banker who speacializes in purchase financing. I work with alot of first time homebuyers. Are you a first time home buyer? Are you buying a primary home, apartment or an investment? Have you spoken to a mortgage lender at a bank in order to see if you are Pre Approved? Obviously you found Trulia which is chock full of very professional individuals and companies which can provide advice. Should you want to speak directly to a banker at a direct lender who will take the time to educate you and provide solid straighforward advice I would like to make myself available.
Please contact me anytime.
