There are many factors which need to be considered to best find what meets your needs. Some communities restrict how often owners can personally use their investment properties because the property manager has the right to book the property xx number of weeks per year. A few key questions:
- How often do you intend to use the property for yourself/family?
- Style of property you're considering? Such as a condo, townhome or detached/single family home.
- Minimum number of bedroom/bathrooms?
- Types of amenities you prefer?
- What's your maximum budget?
- What type of return are you expecting? Many owners are unaware of the monthly running costs for a short term rental property and may be mislead on the return simply based on gross annual revenue.
Feel free to email or call me and we can discuss your needs and what is best suited.
