I got an alert that you had a question but I can't seem to figure out what your looking for? Are you needing info on the Lot on Lake? Shoot me an email and let me know what I can help with.
I do not work in that area, but wanted to offer a quick tip. In addition to talking to a local agent there, it may be beneficial to talk to a few rental agencies that may know the Rental part of the market very well.
I also know an agent in the Fresno area. Please message me if you would like their contact information.
You asked 4 questions: (1) Buying/renting either Suffern or Rutherford.....(2) Parking at Suffern Train Station.....(3) Tenant has not paid water bill which is in their lease...... (4) Market prices for properties in Suffern area (and availability of 2 bd/1 ba rental. Based on information you provide, I am assuming that you currently live in Rutherford - I live in Jersey City (but am Licensed and work in New York/Rockland) - assume also that you know that rental and purchase prices are higher in Rutherford area (in comparison to Suffern) and that rentals are more available in Rutherford. Parking at Suffern train station - available for monthly fee - caution parking on street - risk of tickets and even towing. Tenant not paying water bill - 1st and primary - pay the bill yourself - I am guessing that the water is provided by United Water and they are quick to shut off the water - as for collecting from the tenant - strongly suggest consulting an attorney, one who specializes in real estate/rentals - generally the water bill is not the only bill not being paid - failure to know and follow appropriate legal procedures can become very expensive. Market prices and availability of properties - go to my website - http://GeorgeC21.com and click on ALL THE LISTINGS - you will be able to search all available sale properties and rentals on the MLS and see full information on each, including pictures. No requirement to sign up or give e-mail.... more
