3 Steps to Help Inform Your Decision
- Future: Knowing what is around the corner can help make the process of finding a home more rewarding when you don’t have to turn around and move again. It is a costly and a stressful process. Impending marriages, the addition of children, the loss of children to college, increase responsibilities of an aging parent, ect… all factor into the size/layout of the home you will buy.
- Handy Man: Are you okay with making the needing repairs to a home or do you stay as far away from that as possible? Depending on your answer, having strict HOA ordinances or buying an old home may be out of the question. A larger home always leads to more repairs for the simple fact that there are more areas that can go wrong.
- Mulla: Short term and long term projections on where your finances will be. Will you be able to both buy and sustain the home you choose to live in?
These are obvious, but they can help a possible home buyer determine their range of ability more than price of a house alone. If you can more pointers, please share!
