A staple of Nyack Village life is back!! The River Club, which was damaged during Superstorm Sandy, is now open for business and hosts/owners Michael and Pete Hekker are looking forward to welcoming both their faithful and new customers back to the bar!

Come and enjoy the expansive river views from the River Club's newly renovated dining room and bar. Don't forget to check their delicious seafood specialities and daily menu specials and enjoy free live music on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Rockland Road Runners presents a Rockland County holiday tradition: the 20th Annual 5 mile Turkey Trot, the largest road race in Rockland County! Race starts and finishes at Rockland Lake State Park, Congers, north parking lot #1. Beginners and experts welcome! Enjoy a Thanksgiving Day workout with a scenic course over rolling hills and lakeside vistas. Wheelchair racers welcome.

Race fees: $30; Rockland Road Runners members $25

Senior Special (Age 65+) $20 (must pre-register).

Race Day Fee: $40

All proceeds to benefit the Marisa Fund, helping kids and families affected by cancer.

The Historical Society of Rockland County sponsors the return of the popular annual exhibition *Memories.* will showcase the work of miniature artists, fine artists, quilters, dollhouse collectors and creators!

Among this year's participating artists and collectors are Sandra Mirque, Carolyn McErlean, Barbara Soloff-Levy, Rosemary Aiello, Ned Harris, Hallie Horning, Tamara Greeman, Lillian Alberti, Deborah Calyo, Mary Jane Sexton, George Potanovic, Jr. and Caroline Tapley, as well as pieces from the HSRC's permanent collection.
